Metalform, an innovative machinery manufacturer, developed a unique fertiliser spreader.  They were plagued with multiple leakages, inefficiency and reliability in their spreader hydraulics, designed and supplied by a well-known hydraulic supplier.

Solution

Progressive Group redesigned their system, incorporating a bespoke integrated manifold into the motor housing, incorporating all the necessary valves. The design eliminated a myriad of pipe work and joints, removed potential leaks, while making the system significantly more compact and efficient.  The manifolds were manufactured in house in Progressive’s modern Precision CNC machine shop.
